Mac OS
Intended audience: developers.
There is an active project that specifically supports the MacOS platform at http://www.macada.org.
The MacAda site currently focuses on providing the compiler as well as integrating the compiler into the standard MacOS Xcode Integrated Development Environment.
The MacAda project appears to have a goal of providing pre-built libraries for some of the same libraries that we provide here however as of this writing, the list is shorter than what we provide for most platforms we support. While we would welcome a maintainer for the GNUAda project to provide and bundle libraries for MacOS from this project, interested parties should first consider working with the MacAda project to avoid diluting efforts on this platform.
- Revamped MacAda site : http://www.macada.org (link now re-directs)
- New gcc-4.3 Intel and PowerPC compilers : http://homepage.mac.com/awreynolds/
- GNAT-OSX mailing list : http://hermes.gwu.edu/cgi-bin/wa?A0=gnat-osx
We have a build of the GNAT/GPL 2007 compiler for Tiger on PowerPC (Powerbook G4). For GPS, visit http://libre.adacore.com/ and download the 2006 version (there's no Mac OS X port for 2007).
